hey 8ter's,

i live in hawaii and just got a quote for the borla exhaust for the RX8 installed and out the door for 995USD. I think the price is pretty good, I looked up the price online and on the borla site the exhaust goes for 815 by itself.

1) Does anyone that has this exhaust have any pics they can reply and post on here so i can see how it actually looks on the car?

2) Anyone have any audio clips how it actually sounds with the renesis?

Any inputs you guys would have on this would be awesome! I'm looking to do it tomorrow unless I find out I'm actually getting ripped off or if this exhaust sucks? need feedback now!!! hehe

I have a hunch that shipping from the mainland to Hawaii is going to jack the prices up, even if he does order from rx7store, etc. The downside to living in paradise

Anyway, I'm thinking about the Borla myself. There's little point in listening to an audio file, IMO, as I've never heard one that sounds liek the real thing.

i agree i can get it cheaper online, however the shipping out here would just cancel out the price break anyways. found the exhaust online for 650, however shipping is like 90 bucks and i'd have to get someone to install it cuz i suck with car stuff...with the exception of driving haha. so i think it would break about even...plus they have it in stock so it can be done soon, no need to wait. are you other borla owners fairly pleased with your borla kits?

Deeper, throaty sound. Very little to no horsepower gain.

Don't buy this if you're looking for more power.
