The front bumper isn't my favorite aspect of the car (it's not bad, it's not great, it's fine though), but it certainly doesn't detract from the overall look in anyway IMO.

I think the car looks cooler without the front "Mazda M" logo there as I've seen some pictures with it removed, but I have no idea how one would go about removing it without damaging the car.

Easy; it's called Photoshop. But seriously, if someone can post how to remove it without damage that would be cool.

IMO, I like the Mazda logo on the front.

As for removing the badge, I've read on other car boards about people using hairdryers (or something to heat the adhesive) and then fishing line.

Not sure if this sounds like a good idea to me.

That won't work on the RX8 because the emblem is not only held on with glue, but two posts going through the bumber, so if it you removed it you would be stuck with two holes that would need to be filled and painted (which is more trouble than it is worth IMO).

Ah, then it's definately not worth messing with. The emblem doesn't look bad up front, I just thought it looked sleeker without it.

I actually thought about removing the emblems as well. I tried to see if there were posts on the front and back but couldn't tell. Thanks for the info, I agree it's not worth the trouble. Do you know about the one in back?
Overall, I've never been a fan of that "flying M" emblem, but I like the block MAZDA emblem. Just my opinion.
