My Racing Beat Intake with the REVi Ram Air Duct

Hi guys,

I bought the Racing Beat Intake with the REVi Ram Air Duct from SilverBullitt due to the fact that he sold his RX8 . He helped me to install the kit on my car. In fact, he did most of the work. Thank you Simon! The installation went well (he worked like a real professional) and the kit looks great! It took us 2 hrs to install the kit.

Here are my first impressions on this kit:

1) Wow, the first thing that I noticed was the smooth idle. With the stock intake at high RPM I got some rough idle but with this intake at high RPM, it runs very smooth!

2) With the Ram Air Duct, it allows cooler ambient air to be force-fed directly into the REVi intake tract. The engine gets less warm.

3) At low RPM, you hear a very, very minimal difference in sound. I would say that it is very close to the stock intake.

4) At high RPM (5000 and up), you can really hear the difference! It sounds way deeper than the stock intake! A nice sound! At 6000 RPM and up, the sound is amazing. It is not too loud, just perfect!

I am really . It is a great kit! I strongly suggest it.

I have included some pictures.

Here the sound clip of my Racing Beat Intake. You are going to hear the deep sound at the beginning of the clip. The sound was taking at neutral with a rev at 5000-5500 RPM. I don't know if the sound clip is doing justice because you can really hear a difference inside the car at 6000 and up but don't expect to hear a real difference at a low RPM.

Looks good, nice choice on the intake and color of 8. Now you need an exhaust they make a huge difference with the sound.

The install looks great humagin, very clean! Have you noticed any change in accelaration? I'm sure the adrenalin rush is better!

So cool looking. The looks alone would be worth it.
