My New Website

I have been planning on creating a Mazda Rx8 website for some time and finally got round to it. Last week I registered the domain www.MazdaRx8.org (which I was really surprised was available) and started to build my website.

It is only about 1 week old an only has 2 post so far. Feel free to check it out, I know quite a few other guys have Rx8 blogs/websites on here so if anyone wants to write a guest post, have me write a guest post or just has ideas for content them please let me know.

The plan for my website is to talk about what mods I have done to my car and include a DIY on how I installed them, my days out autocrossing, some maintenance and other general discussion. I will also write a post about this site because if it was not for all the great info I have received on here I would never know as much about the Rx8 as I have learned here, so thanks to all the great contributors.

Thanks guys, there is still not much content but I will keep writing. It is quite fun to write about my days out Autocrossing, hopefully some people will enjoy reading about it.

One of the problems is that you have things like "My" which makes your website into a personal journal. If you want a returning traffic base you need to market your site to people not yourself. Yeah you can show off your car but nobody is really going to care all that much about a website about YOUR car. Just some advice from someone who has been there

Looks good for a blog though.

Great feedback I will keep that in mind, This page is more of a DIY Mazda Rx8 Clutch Adjustment I want to add quite a few like that and some info about mods or maintenance with my opinions. Hopefully they are more appealing.

I will try and certainly try to target visitors more in my posts thanks for the advise.

The DIY looks great. On your home page raise up the DIY section towards the top so more people are likely to see it.

Thanks man I have raised it up to just below the ad and also added and new post Mazda Rx8 fuel Consumption.

I would like to add a menu at the top eventually, once I get about 10 post/pages I think I can add an nice menu if I have less then that the menu will look a bit empty.

My body kit is extreme dimensions (some people don't like them but its pretty good and very durable) I think it was bodykits.com where I got it from. The fitment it good its not perfect around the indicators and the rear bumper on the left side does not sit quite flush but overall I an very happy with it.

The Black Rx8 belongs to Ruggles who is on this forum he has KW variant 3. He won a trophy in STX at Nationals but was driving a different Rx8.

The other Blue Rx8 belongs to 6MTGirl she has a prototype suspension setup or something not too sure but I know the car is very fast. She is on here you could ask her about the setup. This Car also got a trophy at Nationals, good competition for me.

Yep he has only had it for a few months. I think he wants to get it ready so it will be competitive next year. Mind you he is competitive in it now with Coilovers and an exhaust.

I have just created a page about Mazda Rx8 Service Manuals. You can download the manuals for free if you don't have them already. Mazda Rx8 Service Manual
