My new method for improving mileage
So normally when I use my car for 100% daily commuting I average about 15-16 MPG. However all this week and last I have been listening to Pimsleur's Essential read and speak german.
Since I know zero german, and I am trying to brush up prior to heading to Munich, I am quite distracted while driving... Consequently I do not red-line or drive agressivley. Now I don't know if it was a fluke or not but I got 19MPG this last tank.
The only time I ever go over 17MPG is when I am on a road trip. I wonder if this will be repeatable?

Ja, Geht das.
I can order a beer and say good day so far, also say I don't speak German well, only a little bit.
