My First!!

I dont like doing this. i dont know why..... but, i might as well, Just bought my Rx-8 Today... im 20 years old, Worked my *** off for this.. its a upgrade from my current car (a '94 6 speed lt1 Trans am) in every way EXCEPT the low end torque which ill miss, but thats it from the car... its a red 2005 Gt. with EVERY option available.. it was executive Driven, it only had 13xxx Km on the car, Brand Spanking New, 6spd, and i got it for 39k canadian inculding Taxes.. because it was executive driven it was classified as "used" so i didnt have to pay any fo the frieght tax or anything like that, and becuase im a 4th Gen mazda owner in the family the owner of the dealership gave me the full 4 year bumper to bumper warrinty for free (even though a year has gone and it should only be 3 years) he gave me the full 4 no extra Charge... i took it for a test drive and ive been impatiently waiting for them to call me back saying i can take it home.... ive driven past the dealership like 6 times since 10am this morning .. cant wait.

I work in a factory making the Chey Equinox, Pontiac Torrent and very shortly the Suzuki "x" model....I make about 40Kplus a year and I live at home.. so I have the benifit of almost no taxes (cept for insurance and rent..) I've loved the Rx-8 since they came out, and its not for the speed that I want it, i've owned a fast car, and just about to buy a c5 z06.. but when I really thought about it... I didnt need it. And I wanted a quite, smooth ride that will still turn heads, not becuase people can hear the sound of the loud engine and/or exhaust.. but becuase they can feel the presesnce of the 8 even if their back is turned

LOl, at least you found the emocons. Welcome to the club, enjoy your new baby. There lots of good info on this site, just remember to use the search option. As you will see on this site, a thousand times or more, snow tires are a must in wintery weather.
