Angry My 8 was two days old when...

...some g*dd*mn SUV owner tried to parallel park and backed onto my 8's nose!

Here's what sucks the most: I wandered around downtown Boston for half an hour because I didn't want to pay $20 for flat-fee parking. Instead, I end up with a $55 parking ticket and some serious wounding to my clear coat right next to the flying M!!! It looks like a bad scuff, with a little bit of white visible in one of the deeper scratches, but friggin' hell, it's like dropping a newborn baby on its head! When I got back to my car I even checked the front and back bumper just to make sure it wasn't damaged, but it was too dark to see, and I wasn't looking at the top of the bumper!

ARRRRGGGGHGHGHGHGHGHGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I need a hug... My baby needs a band-aid...

Ouch!! I hate to hear things like this!! Does it look like the scuff can be buffed out? Maybe take her to a good body shop or back to your dealer, maybe they can fix it for you. Is there a possibility the scuff happend at the dealership before/while you bought the car?

I really feel for you, I truly do!
I recently experience a "keying" of my Black RX-8. On both sides of the car...
The scratches where so deep, so bad, I am now being told that my car will need a repainting. I am not happy about that at all!

If it is possible, I would get all of the information I can on the SUV and have them pay for the damages. Otherwise it will be up to you have your car fixed!

Nope, no clue who did it. I hate how people don't take responsibility for their actions these days. It definitely happened that night, but I didn't notice it until the next morning. I'll probably be able to buff most of it out...but that won't happen for a while. For the time being...my car sits under a cover under about 6" of snow...

People who damage your car and just drive away should be KILLED!

... okay, maybe not killed ... maybe just maimed a little ... then insulted.

Sorry to hear that, but be glad you only ended up with a 'bloody' nose. I had a similar thing happen to me and ended up with almost $4000 in damages to the passenger side. The loser vanished into the night in my case as well.

Yeah, I agree it could've been worse. That's why I didn't get CSI to come around and investigate. I'll probably add a subtle body kit sometime in the far future, so as long as this mostly buffs out I'll be ok. Thanks for commiserating guys!
