this should be in the what not to do to your car thread. I can't imagine Mazda would've dreamt that up, or sanctioned it... at least one can hope.

The manufacture date on the car is 08/2003... lord only knows who did the paint job or why.

On the plus side, the car seems to be well cared for. It's sad to see how many 8's have been neglected by their owners.

If it weren't for all the proofs (the posts in this thread, the ebay page and the other pictures that were mentioned), I would say this was a photoshop. That's how bad it looks

That's why I was wondering if it was promotional in nature. I don't know why ANYONE in their right mind would put "RX-8" on the sides and hood and daily drive it.
