which is more important???

I went to the dealer today to ask about prices of Spark plugs and Coils.

Coils=146$ each what the hell? why so expensive?
Spark plugs 246$ for 4 which is not so bad.

My question is which one is more important because i have to look at my budget

Plugs or coils first?

thnx guys

Umm, look around. Use the Search function. You can get the plugs for $20 each ($80 total) and the coils for $35 each ($140 total).

Well that depends, are you having them put them on? if so then theyre going to charge you crazy amounts when you could probably do it for 1/4 of the price by yourself.
Use the search function, DIY: Spark Plug Change.

Edit: Well why rush it if you are on a budget, is it really necessary? If both can wait, then wait.

Who said anything about waiting? I went into my local NAPA store and got the plugs for $21 each.

why are you changing the coils and plugs?
as in which is more important thats dependent on your answer to my first question. if your spark plugs not firing because you have a dead coil. do you think replacing the spark plug is going to help?

Which should I get first...Wheels or tires?

You should replace them at the same time, but most people change out their plugs first.

Yeah... you can get the plugs at auto parts stores. Just make sure you get a pair of leading and trailing.

Either way, you're wasting money if you get them at the dealer... lots of money. If you're on a budget, then you should consider how much you're wasting and the fact that you could get them both done if you can wait just a little.

For all 4 coils and set of plugs you'd be paying $236. That's less than the price you were quoted for the plugs alone.
