Well the Mishimoto ones are rated at 330°F, so if the Autobahn88 ones are rated at 180°C (356°F) they should be fine, that's if it's 180°C ?

It does not specify on the autobahn spec but the range of a -60 would advise in is in degrees F

HPS Temperature Range:- 65 deg. F to + 350 deg. F
Mishimoto temperature range:- 60 deg. F to + 330 deg. F

-65 degrees C is unreasonable so if that number is in F the max temp would be in F as well, unless the company stupidly enough rates the low temp in F and high temp in C. In which case I would question the company's intelligence as a whole and stay away regardless.

I just emailed them, if they specs come back within a good operating range I will place an order. I will still keep my Mishimoto upper and lower hoses, but for 150 bucks to replace all the other OE hoses is a bargain considering what they would cost through Mazda.

What if they don't know ? lol

Checking their website I see "Where ab88 is not available, this item will be substituded by an item from the same manufacturer/factory and will have a different logo." I wonder what this other logo might be ??

A vendor should be able to find out, plus I emailed the company directly

Samco also makes them. At least they did a year ago. They fixed the fitment issue with the hoses and sent me a replacement hose.

Just got email confirmation the temperature range for autobahn88 is -60F to 335F

The samco kit is twice the price and doesn't include the TB lines, quality is the same for both kits. I just ordered a set in black, to bad its a 20 day lead time from hong kong

Ill post up pics when I get them.

Sorry don't remember where I got them from atm. I'll check my files for a invoice when I get home. All I remember is the only option they had was blue. I'll repost the pics when I get home too.

Hesselrode seen them and helped me install them. I'd say they were the same quality as samco.

That doesn't make sense, they say -60 to 180 degrees on their website, which doesn't match up to what they say in their reply email to you, sounds a bit dodgy if you ask me, and how do you know they are the same quality as the Samco ones ?

Actually if you look at the pics of the autobahn hoses compared to the samco hoses you can see a more unified structure of the layering in the autobahn, I never thought the samco were that good of quality to begin with.

Those are the specs i got directly from autobahn.uk customer service rep.

If you could find that vendor 1.3 i would appreciate it, I found only one UK site that offers the autobahn in black.

Why is it so hard to find the color black, but so easy to find an obnoxious red or blue

Well I might get a set too, can't decide if red or black my engine is all black, flat black end plates and semi gloss rotor housings, everything else is powder coated black, that and the 8 being black ... so black hoses might be too much ??

On their ebay listing they say they have Blue , Red & Black, picture is just for reference, so I guess you just tell them you want them in black ?

Thought red would have gone better with your colour scheme ? I don't think it has anything to do with classy or flashy, it's more about balance of colour.

Here is a pic of the kit from my Facebook. I'll post the close ups when I get home along with the vendor.

I would say they are the same quality. The ab88's, seemed a bit thinker if I remember right. I don't know about the quality of the silicone though. If you don't use the throttle body lines anyway, just route it back to the engine. You can get a matching silicone hose for cheap from other manufactures. Just a straight one. Samco has more choices of colors. Mine are yellow, thats why I bought samco.

KuramaShop2 (ebay) has the black kit in stock currently, for 180 bucks shipped to the US.

All other vendors are backordered about 3 weeks.

FYI
