Mirrors inside Clear Corners....

Can someone please tell me how to remove the mirrors from inside the clear corners? I am having a hard time with them. I am not sure if you are supposed to break them or what. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

oh man, I know there's a thread on this somewhere as it helped me fix this same issue a few months back.

Here's what I remember:
-Take a narrow flat head screwdriver and apply pressure at the bottom end of the little shiny reflector. I remember one being really easy and the other being a pain in the ***

-Once it comes loose: Take some needle nose pliers and bend the square in half or so and pull the little guy right out.

Hope this helps

I lightly scratched the inside of the second lens I did this on due to carelessness.

Just be careful, although it is barely noticable, it still bothers me sometimes !

Why....

The mirror makes the front half of the lens "dark".

Yes, it looks a lot better when the light shines up the whole thing.
