mazda voiding warranties for using syn?
: Wait till the New Year....we have hit our 06 quota for Syn VS Dino oils.......

There's a loyal following among some on the flrx8 forum who think anything but dino oil will kill the engine.
They don't seem to understand how synthetics are made, or what they do, and no amount of discussing the topic will change their minds.

1) Notice the date on that tag? August 1, 2001?
2) Notice that Betsey from MazSport says: "DO NOT use synthetic oil in your engine. It is okay to change the other oils after your 30k maintenance to synthetic, but not the engine... "
I wonder if that is Scott's official stance?

I'm saying , that if that tag is on reman engines, or in fact original engines, but the car's owner never sees that tag , what the hell good is it.

don't they put something in our owners manual telling us not to use synthetic.
I don't like the looks of that tag means I don't like finding out that we shouldn't use synthetic on a GD website instead of from MAZDA directly.
like I said on flrx8club.net, if i didn't read websites, I 'd be putting synthetic in my car and never thinking twice about it
