Does anyone know the DETAILS of the Mazda buy-back offer?

Do you lose the sales tax?

Is the reimbursement "pro-rated" in some fashion?

Let's save ourselves the excess discussion and just wait for the letters to come in a few days... Nobody knows so why even ask.... It's not like anyone will be satisfied if MrJoeRX8 says this or that... who cares...Things will be clearer once we get official word from mazda. k?

Do I live in a vaccum? I have been reading this forum now and just heard about the buy back. The dealer just called me and my care is in. What do I do now? Will I have to wait for the letter to come out. How will it apply to new owners. Were are the rumors coming from?

just buy the car as if you don't know any of this... unless the dealer discloses this to you at the time of finance.. Then you have some negotiating to do. Hopefully in YOUR favor... I would try to get at LEAST 2k off whatever you originally were going to get it for. Otherwise, just threaten to walk, they'll sell it to you.. If not, get a used one for several thousand below invoice once the buybacks start rolling in.

But I think things are in your favor, don't yield, just keep threatening to walk, it almost always work once they've already invested time in your sale.

But if they don't mention it, you should be getting the benefits all the other owners will get regarding this whole issue.

If he doesn't take delivery by Tuesday, I don't believe he gets anything... (I suspect they will have new window stickers saying "237 hp" by then and thus won't be required to do anything else...)
