Long time lover first time owner :-D

Hey everyone just figured I'd introduce myself and my car. My names Matt and Although this is my first rotory I've been a fan for a long time lol I always figured I would end up buying a FD but here I am the proud owner of an 09 R3 :-D It's got 32k on it and is in immaculate shape. I'm going to change my plugs, coils, and wires in a week or so because I have the "shaky shifter" at idle sometimes :-P But other than that it's a great running car with plenty of power. I look forward to being a member of the forum and have already had the opportunity to learn quite a bit in a short time! Here's a quick photo of it:-)

Maybe FI but I've already owned a couple boosted cars and it's just not practical. I love this thing because of the fun factor. It's honestly the funnest car I've ever driven :-D

As a new rx8 owner myself the only advice i can give you is this..... sell it now, forget you ever saw this forum and run for it, as fast and as far as you can, this is an addiction about to happen and its worse than anything you could possibly imagine...

Congrats. Hopefully you are prepared for the gas prices.

But what i saw on this forum that are words of wisdom:

"It's not the miles per gallon but the smiles per mile"

smiles per mile lol I like that :-) No I need to take the sarx sticker off of there, I live in Colorado so it was probably an auction car :-P I wouldn't have bought it but I had driven an 05 a few years back and it was an instant love affair lol Well that and the fact red is my favorite color and I made the mistake of driving this one too lol

How did you manage to find a SARX 8 that isn't currectly undergoing a build project? And it's another red 8, go figure.

Welcome, nice ride, you should leave the SARX sticker, then start a turbo thread. I kid, not hating on the SARX crew

All I have been doing for the last days is reading and reading on here, lots of good info, lots to sift through to find it but worth the time.

Welcome fellow SARX member It appears you have bought Rtres09's old car. He was a two time RX-8 owner so I can assure you the car was well cared for as I helped work on it. He will be missed

Its not a "Build" Thread if it takes less then 6 months, then its just an "Install" thread. Haters gonna hate.

So I suppose since I recieved a previous sarx members car it must ideally mean it's been taken care of then? lol I did find that it already has a k&n air filter inside the stock box so there's at least one mod I won't have to perform ;-)

Yeah Eric took good care of his car and it was only driven occasionally. He has not been in CO long so I doubt it ever saw snow.
