lights...leeking??

im just helping out a friend,and told her about this forum...she bought a 04 rx8,and all the lights are leeking water.....WTF..any ideas ...the rear lenses were half way full this morning,and all the rear lights blew...

drive the lens and replace the seals behind them.

LOL, when my car was under warranty I tried to get them replaced. Normal cond.

It's a simple fix. Just take out the taillights, dry them sufficiently, then reseal the gasket on the back or fabricate your own, thicker gasket to replace the faulty one.

i just drilled 2 small holes on the bottom of the tailight. NO not the bottom of the lens but the black part down at the bottom. simple quick 3 minute fix.

Bought the seals from the Home Depot and it did the job it supposed to do. Since then, no more aquarium tail lights...lol
