lancaster mazda review

I live in santa clarita california and the mazda here sucks *** when it comes to warranty and service..this past month I have went to lancaster mazda for recalls/ac service/headlight positioning/and even the oil problem rx8s have..Andy is the service manager I deal with and he helps with no questions asked..He even asks me to come in every 6 months to get regular ecu flashes and inspection service done (not oil changes)..

-lancaster mazda put a oil relocator kit in my car to help with oil problems
-even with new rims adjusted tire pressure indicator
-new gas tank strap?
-new pressure gas cap
-new center console with elbow rest
-all recent ecu flashes
-fixed my a/c problem
-seat belt light
-check engine light
-cleans aftermarket exhaust
-electrical recall
-headlight re align
-mazdaclub service every 6 months

Hes even told me there rotary mechanic placed first in the nation (i didnt know they had rotary contests)

overall my experience with lancaster mazda is great ...

Too bad all dealerships aren't like that.

Yeah I use Lancaster Mazda too, and Andy has always taken care of every problem I've taken to him. I had no idea about their rotary tech being #1 though, thats really cool.

What oil problems were you experiencing, and exactly what was this Oil Relocator kit that Lancaster Mazda installed, and how does it work???

there is no oil consumption problem. there is no "better " oil cooler to get. what did they do? maybe put the new pcv like system from the 2006 on? that wont help with oil consumption. or did you have a leak and they replaced the oil cooler line.

the flash was done with your recall work which is mandatory for them to do.

CEL was on because of the gas cap -thats not 2 things.

center consolid with the tab breaking is a known early issue.

ill check the mechanics win. im not putting them down dotn get me wrong . it sounds liek they are be very good to you- only that what they have done is what any dealer should do. especially when they can up sell you on getting on a set service schedule- which you should have been doing anyway.
