Kid's Car-seats

What are you all doing with your kids car-seats in the 8?

Whenever I have my daughter's seat in the 8, it crushes the headrest with the top strap going to the latch mount.

Obviously her safety trumps all... but do any of you have pictures of your (front facing) car -seats in there that the top strap isnt crushing in that head rest? Maybe a taller car seat or something?

Just curious how you all are doing it with kids.

When my kids were in car seats the back seat always got a little crunched at the top. I couldn't find a way around it really. That was with a front facing car seat. Now that I have two out of car seats and boosters that's a big help. Two are still in boosters which fit a little snug in the 8's back seat.

Lucky for me my RX8 is mainly for me to drive. When I go out with my daughter somewhere we take the FJ. Have a second baby seat for the 8 but have only needed it twice but haven't had issues with it?

It's a Britax Maxi AHR and I don't think it caused any issues. I also have a black soft seat protector that goes underneath.

Yes I know. None of the threads touched on the crushing of the rear head rest.

I usually use my Subaru as my family car (we have 3 vehicles) but I do like to take the 8 out of the garage once a week or so and will often take my daughter with me. Thanks for the input
