I kinda went off the RX8 lately and ended up looking into minitrucks, but now after driving one I want one again.

DSC OFF = only way to go too

Wasnt overly impressed with the power, but torque was deffinitely improved over my subaru.

I think your Subaru probably has more torque, the 8 is notorious for having no torque. On a side note, we need an emote of a confused dog cocking its head to the side.

I think he meant his base Impreza. I've driven one, and it's got a pathetic engine.

Depends on where you live. In NZ they probably have a 1.8 liter which would make sense. But if you're talking about the USDM Impreza, you're way off. That engine has plenty of torque and easily outclasses most of the other $17K econo cars.

Well, my sub's pretty gutless until it hits boost (1 bar @ 3500rpm), the rx8 took off from low revs right thru till red line.

In a race, yah my forester would killl the 8, but I must say rx8 way more fun to drive.

And my old Impreza was a 1.5l peice of ****. that has less torque than a scooter.
