Install a backup camera into Factory GPS Unit

Hi all, I haven't been able to find this and I don't know if this is in the right area so forgive me if it isn't but I was wondering if anyone knows of anyway to install a Backup camera into my factory installed GPS Unit. I was thinking about getting a new radio which I could attach one but then my friend said I should just try and attach one to the GPS Screen.

I did find this item and am wondering if there is any other way http://www.navtool.com/mazdacx91-2.aspx

There are various threads on this subject on the Interior/Audio/electronics section.

What generation is your car? (Series I and Series II cars had different Navs, and use different parts /methods to splice into the video signal for the screen)
