Idenitify this part?

I was installing new coils & wires last night and discovered this rubber o-ring laying on top of the engine near the oil filter. Can anybody identify it or where it came from? it's flat on one side and beveled on the other. I'm wondering if it fell out of a previous oil filter while they were changing it?

Thanks in advance.

Looks like the oil filler cap o-ring. It's supposed to stay on the cap, but mine came off a few times like that too.

Awesome, that is exactly what it is! I just went out and checked and indeed it was missing off the oil fill cap.

THIS is why I love forums! Thanx guys.
