Unhappy I new to this and help is neeed please!!

Ok guys, this is the question. I have had my 06 RX8 since april, and its the first car I have had that is actually worth upgrading. I would like to know some good performance mods to throw on it. I have heard alot about turbos being bad for rotary engines, as well as supper chargers, etc. My car is governed, it is a 6 speed manumatic, and I cant get it past a 128 in 5th at 3 grand. Help me, I want nothing more than to play.

read the major horsepower upgrade section of this board. Your question.. well, it wasn't even really a question, shows that you havent done any real reading on the subject.

And I really hope you mean you can't get past 128 while on a track, cause if you're doing 128 street racing then I hope you die a horribly painful death.

Obviously you have not done any research what so ever so forget about turbos. You got a long way to go before you even think of Forced Induction.

start small since you have no experience in Modding. Intake or exhaust. Little steps before you take a huge leap in FI.

First (and likely the best) upgrade is to spend the $50 on an autocross (or $200ish on a HPDE). Have an instructor ride along as well. Suddenly your car will be plenty fast.

NO, NO, NO!!! Dont get an Ebay chip- very funny guys! Listen dude your a total newb, and your not going to get many good responses buy starting a new thred. Your going to get FLAMED! The best thing for you to do is READ, take a hour each night and read the threds, any question that you want to ask- Dont! UNTIL you cant find the answer. Im sure you can figure this out. Dont expect to be spoon fed any information by asking broad questions. OH and one more thing you get what you pay for, as for ebay- avoid it at all costs. (Info for Newbs)

Okay, we arent flaming him for asking a question, even though it was a question that could be answered by reading a billion other threads over the same topic; we are flaming him for asking about doing 128 mph on the street .

What's so bad about ebay? Aside from the ebay chip, which I have tried (lol), Ive bought nice stuff off of ebay.

I bought my springs, and eyelids off of ebay stores.

Note to self: Dont ask questions when you're new. You might get flamed!! Use the search option.

I dont plan on getting my rx8 until after winter. Might as well keep my commander until then. I have 6 months to troll this board before I make my purchase. I spend a couple of hours a week just reading threads.
