How to tell a recalled engine is a Series I or II engine?
I have the engine replaced in 2011. I called Mazda USA today trying to figure out whether the replaced engine is a Series I or II engine. The girl promised me if the engine was replaced on 2011, then what would be a most up-to-date engine. However from what she said I think she is not completely sure about what's series I and II.
If it's a series II engine in my car, would that be too good to be real LOL.
Plus is there any outside-looking clues I can use to tell whether the engine is a series I or II
