Brand-new (4 miles) 2005 Winning Blue, every option except no leather, nav, or spoiler. $26.5K in October. But this maybe should be in "Purchasing & Financing" sub-forum?

The format that's been working out well in this Purchasing thread is:

Final Price:
Model Year:
Model (AT/MT):
Options:
Date of purchase (month/year):
Location (city/state):
Financed/Cash purchase:
New/Used:

Helpful additional information-

MSRP:
How you did it:
Comments:

Please post final price, after tax, etc. Although this is a purchasing thread, I'd guess the Purchasing forum has the lowest percentage of visitors that actually own RX-8s.

Dookie: feel free to include this template in your original post.

Bought mind new at the end of Jan. an 05 Grand Touring 6spd. with rear spoiler and a free tire mounting from the dealer(I switched rubber right off). $24,something with an out the door price including tax, fees ect.... $26,300. I was very happy with this price it included $1,500 back from Mazda another $1000 for Mazda financing and the dealer had some incentives in the back ground for volume of cars sold.

Reading all this seriously hurts.

You guys pay around 10% more than what the japanese pay for their RX-8's.

Down under, Mazda Australia rip us Aussie off by setting a 60% mark up over the Japanese versions.........

Then they wonder why RX-8 sales are "average".....??

Unhappy

I think I got rip off . I bought my WB AT w/ sport pack, wing, and all of the apperance pack for at least 32k back in Aug 05. It only has 5000 miles on it now and I want to trade it back for a 06 Shinka AT fully loaded. I am guessing my car now only worth about 28000, but can someone give me a number so I can better arm myself during the trade in? But it the trade in price is too low I will just try to sell it on my own. Please help.
