How Much Dealership Tune Up?

im thinking of taking my car to the delearship and letting them change my plugs and oil. i have a set of plugs already how much do you think they would charge ballpark? ive heard anywhere between 150-500. i dont have any tools atm mine have went missing.

Your right around the ballpark of $150-$400. Anyway, why not try to find a shop that deals with those kind of work rather than the dealership, it will be much cheaper if you did.

From personal experience, it's going to cost around $950 for labor and parts if you go to the dealership. Just buy the parts from an online vendor, ex Mazmart, Mazdatrix, or BHR and have a mechanic install them.

You should go with the BHR ignition kit.

jeez...i may just wait for a couple of weeks and get the kit and install it myself if thats the case

There's a DIY thread on the forum that's really helpful.

I would go that route as well as it's honestly not worth paying that much especially when it's recommended to change your plugs every 20k miles.

I believe it's plugs 20k miles, wires 30k miles and coils 50k-60k miles, though I'd recommend replacing the coils around 30k.

Also, if you do decide you want to go with the BHR Kit, make sure to speak with Charles. I think they're in limited supply so you might want to ask if he still has any available.
