Im not very happy right now. I was trying to show my car off to some friends by looking at races online in which the rx8 was involved. Ended up getting laughed at. All the races it was in it lost!!! I got pissed off so i kept looking for more videos, on other websites, but got the same results. Then I thought about it when i got home, how could the 8 lose against cars like a civic, crx, and other such cars. Other tuner cars that cost a lot less than the 8. But as i remembered what i looked at, I remembered that the cars the 8 went up against were modified, and the 8 was always stock. Not even the exhaust had been changed. So guys help me out, tell me it aint so. Tell me that the only reason the cars like an xrt, crx, and civic only beat the 8 cause they were modified and the 8 was stock.

any civic with something like a boosted b16 swap or even an ls is gonna walk all over the rx8 thats just how it is man straight line racing is not the rx8s thing... i think u bought the wrong car man u need an srt4
uhm............seriously dude........the 8 is a track car man, its ment for turning more than straight line racing.......but just put on a happy face(and a turbo) and u'll be fine, boosted and tuned 8s are gonna be wayyy better than stock 8s, I don't know what you wanna hear but.......the 8 is a car also, if you want, you can just mod it like the civics and crap, and ull beat them too

we all have had a few run in's with the comp.and a lot have come out first w/out question there were a few modded out 8's.but you need to remember that this car is not a straght line shooter but a curve killer.meaning it's a true as a sports car anyone would like who is into the sport mode not the killer hourse power game.like all new to the world cars it takes time to bring out the very best a car can and will offer.then again most of the cars butts that were kicked in the but were not caught on tape!if your in it for speed i think you missed the bus to the track.i have so much fun since i got out of my f&f honda and into the world of turns and thrills that the other guys out there are just that ...other guys out there!!

The 8 only makes decent power if you turbo it, and even then it becomes wildly unreliable unless you soak lots of time and money into it...and it may still bite you. I'd suggest you either take some time to learn and appreciate what this car excels at, or just get used to all the kids laughing at you. It's your choice.

buy a bike and make minced meat out of those civic/crx cars. lol as said before, the rx8 is a cornering car, which is why i bought mine. i have two bikes to go fast, plus they corner well too.

Nah, 5-6k will do it properly. Should be fine for even daily driving. Double your torque, and an extra 100 whp.
