Cloth seats+ no HID/TCS/ASM= RX-8 Base model
Base model + HID/ASM/Foglamps= RX-8 Sport PKG
Sport+ Sunroof/Bose stereo= RX-8 Touring PKG
Touring + Leather seats/ Power driver's seat= RX-8 Grand Touring PKG
body kit is an option in all trim levels, also, all trim levels come both auto, or stick
also, most other parts are equal across all trim levels, evrything else are dealer installed accessories (with the exeption of the advanced keyless entry of the '06+ Grand Touring models (and it is an option on those.
There is also a "Shinka" special edition (model for '05, trim level for '06) it included special tan colored seats and piano black interior pieces (both years) special "black cherry pearl" paint (05 only) and the front suspension crossmember is filled with urethane foam ('05 for sure, unsure about the '06) plus the requisite badging and couple thousand price premium

For more info search the site. cause that's about all i know off the top of my head
or go to google and search mazda
*HID= high intensity discharge headlights
TCS= traction control system
ASM=active stability management

If i'm understanding what you're asking...i don't think each years RX-8 was individually numbered or lined up (such as SVT cobras). The closest thing you're likely to find is the total production for that year...and even those numbers are a lil hard to come by.
