hey yall

hey guys
I never knew this day would come..
but because I will be joining the army soon

I came to a decision that I have to sell my Rx8
and I need some advices from you guys

My car is lowered with fairly new sets of enkei wheels and good tires
I do have a MS wing on it. I do not have my stock to switch them back.

Where would be the most beneficial and easier place for me to sell my car??

and I do have some little chips and scratches on the front bumper from the spirit driving over the years, should I at least change the front bumper with a new one??

good luck with the military. Why do you have to sell it? You are more than welcome to own a vehicle on base...

you will regret it. I have 2 friends that sold their cars and both bought the same cars again after they returned from duty.

You will miss it.

One of which was a fully built 800rwhp 350Z, dude sold it because he was getting deployed and had nowhere to store it. Now he bought another 350Z just to do the same projects over because he missed it so much after cruising with us again when he came back.

I know

I love this car with all my heart.
NEver thought I would come to a day where I need to sell this car really.

I set it up just to my tasting and it's a perfect beaut

I will most def miss my car, and will not be surprised to search for another rotary for my next car after the army and stuff.

keep the car... on base they have setups in place to store cars during deployments. Unless your being shipped to italy or japan you don't have to sell the car....

when we went to iraq they always had storage in place for us ahead of time, all you had to do was show you had insurance on the vehicle. They kept it in storage and out of the weather for us while we were gone.

heres another beauty, if your still making payments on it, it will be easier to pay the vehicle off. Talk with USAA at www.usaa.com they offer special insurance for people deployed over seas, and for people in the military who cant drive for various reasons at the moment. They will be able to give you more information than you ever want on the situation.

Paying the car off will also be easier while in the military. You don't pay rent, or medical insurance along with many other things, so you can double up or tripple your payments. Then once its paid off you can keep it, or buy up by trading it in for market value and getting a newer one. Just don't sell it. Everyone I knew in the military that sold a car they didn't want to part with regretted it.
