hey all, new to the forum

Hey ppl,

Just got a 04 plate rx8, just a few quick questions:

1. Just wondering what model i have?

its got all black leather interior, six disc bose cd player, 8 point electric driver seat configuration, fog lights.

Bought the for 1500 so hoping nothing wrong, did the hot start/cold start test, everything good.
So heres hoping lol.

I must say its fecking fast!

You have a GT trim.

I highly recommend you read the new owner thread, as I'm betting that for that price there are problems lurking under the surface. I am guessing from the "04 plate" part that you are in the UK? So 1,500 is 1,500 british pounds, which is about what a blown-engine'ed RX-8 costs here.

I recommend a compression test, clean the sensors, replace the ignition, and replace the fluids, for starters.

Aye british pounds, read the starters guide throughly, was serviced by mazda this year, motd for 9 month no advasiries.

Got it booked in for a compression test on monday, so if its a lemon, ill be taking it right back.

Simple question, do you have headlamp washers? If yes = 231, if no = 192
