Here we go again...

Welp, season is over on the east coast. Time to start plans for next season. Wanted to get some input from the comunity.. I recently had the clutch replaced with a stage 1 exedy, (really awesome btw) and while i was having that installed, i had the coilovers (powertrix) and exhaust (B&B) removed. Also, Swapped back to stock wheels since its about to be winter.. As of now my 8 is pretty much back to stock. Besides rear bumber and skirts.

Im really leaning towards keeping the stock front (almost defiantly) just tring to figure out the rest... the bazreia and tire combo i have, are the lowest and widest i can go without more modification ie. Pulling the fenders (the rear fenders and bumper tabs have been shaved) The rear offset is even a little too low. Wheel specs (19x10.5 +27/16, 255/35)

After putting the stock set up back on its been kind of weird. On 1 hand I miss the after market stuff and how it looks. The 4 in lips on my weds are just ****. On the on the hand the car is awesome to drive with the stock set up. The Stock exhaust makes the car sound like a refined sports car, although im not a fan of how it looks, and the stock suspention and wheels allow me to drive the car without having issue (mainly rubbing)

Been looking at a few options...

1. Get a lip kit for my front to match the sides and rear. keep the weds and get a lower profile tire, maybe a camber kit.. keep the coilovers or get air ride.

2. Get a lip kit, Get rid of the wheels and use the funds to get the car vinyl wrapped / painted, get some spacers for the stock wheels (or get less aggressive wheels) and reinstall the coilovers...

3. Part out or sell

If you would like to see more photos of my 8 im on instagram "@illestcarmedia"

I really appreciate the input.

What exactly is the goal your trying to accomplish? It's hard to make recommendations without knowing what you are trying to achieve.

Im trying to get the car back to awesome.. lol.. over the short time ive owned the car ive transformed the car into something i wanted. I had a plan and executed it pretty nicely... along the way i have learned ALOT.. thru the lessons i learned there are some i would have done differently and i would have taken and taken a different approach.. i would have went with suspention and wheels first and kept the stock kit.. might have went with an air ride suspention. I really like the wheels i have but, i want better fitment (without pulling the rear fenders).. i know i need a front lip for my stock bumper to match the aggressive sides and rear, and i need to do something to get better fitment. Still debaiting on Repainting or go the vinyl route. There are a few 8's that i absolutly LOVE but dont wanna copy. Im leaning tward the VIP style ie. SRAX group and Rotarystar. But om not sure if i should start over or build on what i already have.

at that last comment, SARX group and Rotarystar are like complete opposites. Anyway I believe that if you have an intention of wanting to be low and stanced then air is the only way to go. Depends how low but I dont think id have a stanced car that wasn't on air. Being able to drive the car like it was meant to be is great though. I would suggest a nice set of coilovers, nice fitting wheels that dont require a lot of modification and you will have a good looking 8 that will be fun to drive all over. Lip kits are always easy and look great too.

I absolutly understand that, rotarystar is more form over function and srax is the latter..where i am sort of in the middle right now... i am def going to be looking at an air set up before i reassemble my car.. also going to be loing at a differnt tire size and either a full repaint or vinyl wrap.. just wanted to see what ideas were out there to help me get to there.. any other suggestions....

Side note anyone know of any good body shops or vinyl shops on the east coast that are decently priced?
