Help! Spontaneous suspension problems after sitting in garage for 30 days

I just got back from a 30 day trip yesterday and was itching to jump back into my 8 after driving around american rental cars. Nothing fancy, I just turned the car on and backed it out, but as I drove down my drive way it felt like I had a flat tire because the car drove with the familiar flat tire uneven rolling feeling. Plus it sounded as if the right rear tire was loose and about to fly off. I quickly got out of the car, but found nothing to be wrong, air pressure good, lug nuts tight and nothing obviously busted. I ended up doing a slow loop around the block but throughout the right rear tire made weird thumping noises like it was loose.

After getting back I jacked the car and the only thing I found was the right rear suspension wet and slightly dripping with some type of gasoline smelling liquid where as the left rear and front suspension were dry as a bone. This has never happend before and the car has been good to me (only 2500 miles).

If anyone has any clue on what is going on or what fluid is leaking I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

+1 for shock. Why it would spontaneously go is anyone's guess.

as for the shock totally compressed...dunno looks normal. So should I get it towed to the dealership or drive it down? Is a blown shock a big deal? Are 8's known for this?

Just for others who may run into this problem, I towed it to the dealership and it turns out that the suspension was totally blown and that they are replacing it. The fluid was from the suspension.

Just as an aside. I lost my front right shock at 18K miles, and it was totally blown for no reason. It happens.

Yeah, I know that he posted a month ago. It was an ASIDE. A mere comment. Sheesh, such a picky bunch.
