Help i need LHD headlights for my RX8 i live in england

Hi i need help trying to find some LHD zenon headlights as i live in england but am going to germany for a couple of years and it is a legal requirment.

I have tried Mazda UK and Germany but they want nearly 1K does anyone know of any where else that could be cheeper

ha ha, no serious guys i need to get hold of some LEFT HAND DRIVE MAZDA RX8, ZENON HEADLIGHTS, as mine are UK ones which are illigel in Germany.

So please can anyone help

how are lhd lights different from rhd?

There are no difference! No Difference between LHD and RHD Lights.

The beam pattern, LHD headlights have a beam pattern that looks like:

___________/----------------------- (comes up higher on the right hand side to light up street signs)

RHD headlights have something like:

------------------------\_________________ (comes up higher on the left hand side) therefore driving with thsoe 'JDM' or RHD lights in a country that's LHD you will blind on coming drivers as badly as ricers in civics with HID kits. Maybe worse.

i think he has HID"s and need rid of them because they are illegal or visa versa not positive though

You mean HID headlights from a Left Hand Drive Rx-8 correct? Well if so I may sell you mine for $$1k for both. bulbs and everything. slightly used but fully functional. PM ME.

Hi,

I am in the process of importing my uk rx8 to the netherlands and look like I need the headlights altered from right hand drive to left hand drive. Does anyone know the best solution??

The guys that import RHDs often simply realign the headlights with metal washers or plastic bushings for the inspection .
