What can I do to make my RX-8 faster than a stock 07 Mustang? I just have a K&N drop in filter. My car is a 2005 Shinka.

Search around a little. You will see that bolt ons do almost nothing. The only way to get real power gains is with a turbo.

What you really need to do is remove the stock air intake box, insert a bag of sand and start cranking the car and start her up. The sand will port and polish the housing/heads/piston rings and give you a larger displacement area. Depending on the grade of the sand *I use 20g* you will get upwards to 100 HP and 95 TQ. That's enough to beat the pants off any Mustang.
