Hi all. I just wanted to introduce myself. Long time lurker, just picked up an 05mt 2 days ago. Enjoying the hell out of it so far. Glad to have the rx8 as my practical car so that I can quit feeling guilty about turning my miata into an auto-x'er. Anyways... cheers!

welcome! haha just dont get all mad when the honey moon period is over!
as an auto-xer i'm sure you'll love the car!
and remember!
a redline a day keep the carbon away!
I didn't realize pics were necessary. I'll get a few tomorrow. I also didn't realize that there was a honeymoon period. In my first 24hrs I had the coolant, pwr steering, and cel light on at different times. Also startup smoke and temp control **** issues. The search button is my friend so far.
No worries though. I'll get it all straightened out soon enough. But I wouldn't call it a honeymoon.
Btw, in college, I was driving my roomate's 2nd gen rx7 when it hit 250k miles. Has anyone hit that mark yet with the renesis?
no no, just some members have had that car for a couple months, then when they start running minor issues, or realize it isnt a car that gets good gas mileage, they realize its not a great car for them.

Fine then, I don't wanna see your frickin' car anyway!!!!! Gosh!!!
Here are a couple of quick and dirty cell phone pics. For my first mod, i'm replacing all of the interior bulbs with clear/white. The previous owners choice of purple lights just doesn't suit me.
nice car ... good color too ... and ugh why did he do purple lol! maybe a she?

I dunno. Whoever it was had purple windshield wipers and a gearshift **** with flashing purple leds. Ugh. In addition to the fact that the lights make me feel like a San Antonio pimp, they don't put out enough light to be worth having.
Friggin sweet then! Because they had 2 wiper blades per arm! So i'm up 40 hp!
Seriously wtf is wrong with some people? You'd think that with twice as many wiper blades, i could get dew off the windshield in the morning, but these are the worst wiper blades ever.
