hanging cable under steering wheel

found this cable hanging under steering wheel. its an 04 and i bought it used. any idea of what it might be?

Not stock..looks like a phone jack type plug. Seen them used on some radar detectors

Follow it to see where the other end goes..likely in the sunglass holder area

Trace the line to it's origin. That's the only way to tell.

Isn't that a RJ11 plug? aka phone jack ?
