Question:

I have been reading my manual in order to find out if I turned the DSC off/on does the light on the dash light up signifying that DSC is off. I tried pressing DSC button, but I don't know if when I press it, am I turning it off or on?

Also I noticed when I decelerate there is humming sound coming from the front passenger wheel. It happens when I apply brakes or even when I don't. Have anyone else has this problem?

I'm fairly certain based on what people here have said that the DSC (which you can only turn off by holding the button down for a few seconds) turns back on every time you start the car.

My guess for the humming is an alignment issue. Check the tire pressure and all that. If it still happens, take it to a dealer.

Yeah, what saturn said. The light on the dash is to warn you that it is off.

start car: DSC is ON and TSC is ON
Press DSC button : dsc is turned off : "dsc light" is ON
press and hold dsc for 7 seconds: tsc is off : "tsc light" is ON

Did that. Still didn't help. I noticed when I start the car, the "DSC Off" light is on, but then turns off. Should I hold button while starting car?

Press DSC button : toggles DSC mode : DSC light indicates system OFF

You can turn DSC off and on repeatedly.

After turning DSC off, continue to hold DSC button for 7 seconds: TCS is off : TCS light indicates system OFF

Once TCS is off, only ignition OFF/ON will bring either (both) back.
