Golf Clubs in the Trunk

So for all the golfers out there..

I can definitely fit one golf bag in the trunk.. No problem. But when it comes to putting in another set, I usually need to take out some of the longer clubs.

People on here have said they can fit 2 (even 3) bags no problem. So I'm asking.. How do you guys do it? Or how do you position the bags to get 3 to fit. It turns into a puzzle everytime I do it!!!

This is a pretty specific question that doesn't need an immediate answer.. But any info would help.

Thanks

Been Wondering about that

I only get 3 or 4 rounds in a yr and didn't get any in after i got my 8 last year. I live in a second floor apartment and was totally dreading lugging my bag down only to find out it didn't fit. Now i don't have to. Thanks

Hello Fellow Zoom Zoomers!

Head Golf Professional from Dragon's Fire Golf Club Here!

I have no problem getting clubs in my trunk and have even fit 4 bags if you can believe that! But the thing is.....Two of the bags weren't full size golf bags, they were just a smaller version of a standard stand bag....

How big is your bag Eric? and is it a stand bag ,cart bag or Tour/Staff bag?

Cart bags are always bigger and you will definitely only be able to fit 2 of them if thats the case...

Staff or Tour Bags are a different story all together and you will only ever fit 1 of them....(i know this because my father has to carry it around all day during my professional events)...

the easiest thing to do to make all clubs fit is pull the driver out of the bag before putting them in....

I can fit three normal size stand bags in my trunk but have to pull the driver out before and in my dads case i have to pull out his "cheat stick" (long putter) to make them fit..any loose clubs like putters or drivers go in behind the bags after the bags are in....

I am not gonna lie i have ripped/torn the weather stripping around the outside of the trunk as i had spent some time doing exactly this.....taking out and putting in golf bags....

Hope this helps!

O yea.....keep it in the short grass and hit em straight!

Regards,

Big Fella

Thanks for the reply man!!
I have a Sun Mountain 3.5 carry bag. My driver is also a standard length 913.

Is it possible to fit 2 carry bags with the drivers still in the bag?? And when you're doing 3 bags, how do you go about positioning them..? Cause it can be a real puzzle if you make a wrong move!!
