Getting the M3 after 1 year of RX8

A Mazdaspeed3 that is, . I'll be trading my 8 for that beast today. Just wanted to drop by one last time and thank everyone for all the help I have received on this forum.

So here's what I think of the 8 after a year.
Things I will miss:
-Excellent handling.
-Revving to 9,000 RPM.
-Lightweight.
-Usable back seats for a sports car.
-Feels like your in a cockpit with the way the seats are set up.
-RWD
-Sports car style (exotic look), sports car feel.
-The gauges are the best around, I love the blue/red color combo.

Things I won't miss:
-Gas guzzler, 17-18 mixed (revs kept under 5k). 12-14 spirited driving (revs kept over 9k).
-Lack of torque, would have loved just a bit more to feel some "umph."
-Clutch felt notchy, at least mine did.

The MS3 has a totally different feel. No sportiness, but feels better as a daily driver. Heck, I'd keep both, but can't afford two cars =P. I will miss my baby and all the fun I had with her. But I do look forward to some MZR DISI 2.3 Turbo (man that torque steer is one scary **** , mental note :keep both hands tight on the wheel before flooring it: hahaha.

Thanks everyone.

PS: anyone know a good forum for the ms3, other than the one that links to this site?

Nice. MS3 is one of the best bargains out there. I would totally trade my 8 in for one if I were more practical like you. Good luck.

What color did you get? Let's see some pictures.

Congrats on your purchase.

Try http://www.mazdaspeeders.com/index.php?board=917.0

and

http://www.mazda3forums.com/

They're both related to the 3 with the top being more related to the speed 3. You're just going to have to lurk more in the second one.
