Talking Gas Mileage with my 8

I have read alot of posts about people getting horrible gas mileage. Well I recently drove to Florida and back using cruise control almost the entire time. My Average gas mileage was 18 mpg on the Highway. I never checked it for the city but judgeing how often I filled up my taking I am guess around 15mpg. Anyway, my check engine light came on a week after I got back. I took it to the dealership and they reset the computer and replaced my spark plugs. That night I drove to Kentucky to visit family and my gas mileage was 21-22 on the highway without using cruise control. So for those not getting gas mileage anywhere near that I recommend a trip to the dealership. The dealership I took mine to was Rosenthal Mazda near Tyson's Corner.

I am getting 20-21 MPG on the highway (which is what I use the RX for mainly).

If I get frisky and rev it up a bit I know my milage will suffer...that is the price of having fun.
