Fellow RX-8 owner needs your vote!
i'm not sure if this belongs in the lounge but am hoping it can stay here. my sister is also the owner of an 8 (SS w/ black and red interior) and needs some help. she's trying to break into the acting field and is right now trying to become the "Face of Fox" for a competition at her local news station.
every time someone views it all the way to the end, she gets a vote so please help a fellow RX-8 owner accumulate enough votes to be one of the finalists in the panel! oh, and she is an attractive young lady but is also my sister and will probably see this thread at some point so please be respectful with any comments (this means you, leghumpers).

ALBUQUERQUE (KASA) - Top 10 selection process:
One finalist will be chosen by KASA.com users based on completed video plays. So, Face fans should watch candidates’ videos as often as possible and remember to play the video the entire way through. There is no limit on how many times a voter can watch a video.
The remaining nine finalists will be chosen by a panel of judges who are looking for enthusiasm, personality and originality – an energetic, fun-to-watch spokesperson who can represent KASA Fox 2 and KASA.com on-air and online. They will be looking at candidates’ self-promotion in addition to their submitted videos.

lol.
If I just hit play every time the video ends does that count? Or do I need to refresh or even close the browser? I've already run it through 3 or 4 times now.

i'm an old fart - i know it. and the kicking comment was for dmc. i feel compelled to kick him in the head when i see him so if he votes, i won't kick him in the head so hard.
i won't argue that point.

and i know the comment was for DMC, but I had to reread, cause i thought you typed the kicking comment in B@w, thought it was, originally, to me falling down the stairs....good thing I caught myself

More than likely the votes work the same way as ads on webpages, it only counts votes from a IP once and then the repeat ones dont count. Might be per day, might not. It might not even work that way but if they were smart they would do it like that. You can always just go to a proxy site and watch the video many times from different IP's it just might load a bit slower.

it said that you can vote as many times as you want and each view counted as long as it got to the end but i don't know if there are any other restrictions.

I voted. I see she might be wearing indian jewelry, love it. I also liked what she had to say, so tell her if she does get in, to stick with what she said, and she'll have an army of followers.
