Hey guys,

I'm not sure how many of you have heard of CarWars before but it's an online car show where cars battle it out for the top score based on people's votes. There are a ton of US domestic vehicles on the site but hardly any JDMs to compete with them. I just wanted to get the word out and have you all check it out so we can build up a good RX-8 user base for the competition

My friend owns a dark gray MazdaSpeed RX8 with a 6-speed and its a beautiful car. He's registered on the site as well as my other friend (who's car I am claiming as my own on these forums haha) and they are both getting a lot of votes. Mazdas are beautiful vehicles and it would be nice to see more of them!

Im seeing a lot of Autos on this site. I vote for Manual in an Manual vs Auto if that's ever the case.

Glad you like it! I'm with you though. The car I registered is an auto and I would never vote for myself if given the chance. I choose manual over auto every time...even if it's an '08 Caliber vs a 600 horsepower Camaro. If the Caliber is a stick and the Camaro isn't, the Dodge gets the win.

Thank you Speed_8 for signing up. My friend Kyle is on there with his RX too and he loves your car with the MazdaSpeed front bumper. It's nice to have another RX-8 on the site

I've seen that car before on this site and the evo spoiler does not look good with the 8. To each, their own is what they say.

Exactly. I wouldn't have done it either. I prefer the MazdaSpeed spoiler. Looks cleaner. However, that's the point of CarWars is diversity in modifications

Please check out the site when you have a minute and register for free if you like it. It takes two minutes to register and it would be nice to have a larger user base of RX owners with all the domestics that have been registering!

Ehh, Evo spoiler looks slightly out of place, but not terrible. I love the OEM Evo wing, but the rounded shape of the RX-8 does make it look a bit off. My favorite wing is still the Seibon Autoexe style carbon fiber wing. Still cool to see something different. [thumbsup]
