Engine light on
During, shall we say, "spirited driving", my engine light started flashing and then went to steady. I dropped by the dealer service department and they are telling me my coil is "arcing" and I need new spark plugs?
Has this happened to anyone?
RPM's never exceeded 7500.
I this the correct forum for such a question? I'm not sure of the etiquette.

Autozone would've done the check for free in most locales.
Anyway, to the OP..............depending on mileage, yeah.....your coils could go pretty quickly.
Do a search and look at some of the alternative ignition systems such as BHR or Mazsport have to offer.
