Dumb question but....

How do you tell what package you have? And what packages come with what?

I just purchased an 04 black rx8 AT w/ bose sound system, navigation, no spoiler, and no lip kit or anything.

Ive noticed other RX8's are a bit different stock. They have spoilers and a cool stock body kit or lip kit if you will. Whats the difference?

check for heated seats and powered driver seat...good giveaway for whether or not it is a GT package...so is the bose but I think you could get that as an option on its own

agreed that bose gets you closer to the answer but touring also has bose. the leather is key to knowing what you have if you have bose and a moonroof. if you have leather you have GT, if you don't you have touring.

The best package is the one you want the most. If you want the fastest get the 6spd Sport its weights the least.....Sport...Touring...Grand Touring.....Shinka.

18" standard on all manuals.

There was one owner on here who had a touring with an aftermarket leather package that was a high quality imitation of the red/black GT interior. So if it has heated seats then its GT.

Great list, but the GT only came with the new card key system 2006+. 2004 had regular keys and key fob and 2005 came with switchblade key.
