Does this make you laugh as hard as i did?
ok so im selling my 04 rx8 6sp blue for 9500 just as a quicksell, and i have gotten so many noobish offers, like one was a trade for a sport quad and an 00 grand am, a 03 protege with window tint and lowered(ooooooo hahaha), then i forget what else, i dont really care, and then you have your how bout 7k cash, those types of worthless offers...........but then? you get this one guy(ill post our texts

him-would you take a 03 srt-4 79xxxmi ? small grind in 3rd but fine if you double clutch
ME- that car is worth about 7k in good condition, mine is worth 11,600 idk how good of a trade that would be

ME- well do you have any idea of what an rx8 is? how fast they are even stock?
HIM- umm i push 266hp and 289 torque last time i dyno you have what 220? hp ?
ME- nope, more about 245hp but the rotary engine has enough torque to make up for lost hp
(at this point i realized how much this guy was a douche and was just laughing and i know its 238hp, i was just messin with him to **** him off hahaha)

BASICALLY i offered to race him on a racetrack he wouldnt take it, and university ave in the cities is a popular spot where people go to show their lame ricers off lol, im sure SOME of the cars are nice, but get a real car to show off, like the 8, i talked to a kid who went up there with this sweet rx8 :P he talked to me,
so im thinking he just wanted to "show off" up at university ave racing in front of everybody, im not going to be that dumb to prove whos car is better by doing it illegally, this has made me laugh even harder at people who think their cars are SOOO great, like people who try to trick out their cavi's hahaha

At 300 ft. pounds of torque, the STR4 break the input shaft to the transmission. I was at a track day and a bunch of Dodge junior engineers were there. One of them applied too much boost and snapped the shaft. The others were giving him hell.
It sounds like this car was right on the edge of that happening.

and your not going to believe this i looked him up on facebook(i checked my yahoo mail) he first emailed me before he texted me haha, and it says his name on his email) im not able to get into his profile but i see his display and here is a pic
looks to me its bad ***, sitting next to that cobalt, boy will i regret not trading my 8 for that beautiful yellow thing
oh and on top of that his network says burnsville senior highschool 12' so if im not mistaken that would put him in 10th grade? maybe not idk

I personally had fun with the SRT4. They are quick little buggers for a cheap price, but yeah not at all worth the same as the RX8. (Granted we have been quickly slipping off)

no im not leaving COMPLETELY adam...
im just not wanting to rack up miles on my 8 driving 60 miles a day and then over 150 miles a weekend, this is probably more around 70(4-5 days) and 175(3 days) so yeah im just going to get a crotch rocket :P in the mean time

im sure they can be fun cars, just dont compare with the 8, and yes i do know my cars, a stock 8 isnt the GREATEST car, im just having fun with it, and i was just messing around with this guy cuz he was just a douche and thought he knew SO much, so half the stuff i said was out of sarcasm and humor lol
