Today on my way work i noticed when i let of the gas on my 04 rx8 (6spd) that the speed climbs down fast on leveled roads. I was puzzled for a bit and decided to bring the speed up to 55mph and coast it holding down the clutch and sure enough instead of holding the speed for awhile while climbing down slow, it goes down fast as if i was putting a little pressure on the brakes. Could this lead to other problems?

I would jack the car up and spin the tires by hand to make sure everything is running freely
