Dead battery Alarm Crazy.
Hi guys can someone please tell me why my alarm keeps going off after I charged my battery that was dead? Car parked for the winter. Also I cannot disarm the damn thing with my key fob. Key fob batteries are fine. Had to use my key to start the car.

If not, you might have to reprogram it.
I also had the alarm go off when I put in my new battery after the winter, but a quick button push disarms it.
In case the FOB works, do you have any WLAN/Bluetooth devise lying in your car?
Wireless frequencies are known to cause the 8's alarm to go crazy.

Just use these instructions and you should be fine.
Alarm turns off once you unlock the car with your FOB.

I can now unlock my door. Afraid to lock it because the alarm may go off then I have to use the key & it still doesn't shut off with key in ignition.

Hey it worked with this method! Thx.
just coded my own 05 key thanks guys. the transmitter was the hardest part but ill give good instructions right here.
1 sit in car
2 open driver door
3 put the key in move it
to lock to on
to lock to on
to lock to on
theres a small button in the door jam with a rubber stopper on it press it 3 times
now check that the door buttons still work and lock and unlock the doors.
then press any button on your key fob twice. now be patient cuz it takes like 5 seconds for it to first work.
MAKE SURE YOU DO THIS ALL QUICKLY!!!! 30 secs and under.
