I live in sunny San Diego, America's finest city. On the rare occasion, we come up with a "rainy" day. By rainy I mean sprinkles on the windshield that require the windshield wipers every 30 seconds to a minute. Anyways, I was just wondering if anyone else has noticed that someone at Mazda really knew what they were doing when they designed the 8 because in a light rain situation, you can keep the windows down (which is how every 8 owner likes it) and no rain what so ever makes it inside the car.
Holla at your boy...

Ya, I would have to say that Atlanta is America's finest city. No other city like it. HOTlanta representin'! The only thing San Diego has on the ATL is Anchorman. Welcome to the dirrrrty south. Home of Luda, Lil Jon, Usher, Youngbloodz, Bow Wow, Michael Vick and many other famous people. Also home of Elton John...
Woah there, don't be hatin on the ATL... those people are some of the most successful rap artists in the business. Don't be jealous that your town doesn't have the rappers and gangsters of Atlanta. Haha, just kidding.
meh its better than my Protege5 which even with the windshield fluid you would get a water fall in the car. Driving in the rain with the window cracked require the use of a scuba tank to breath.
.... and back on topic! Here in Seattle we get more than the slight sprinkle and I have to agree on the rain thing. As long as you go fast enough nothing gets in.!
I also love how you can open the roof in all weather and still stay warm and dry.
San Diego temporarily dropped thed "America's finest city" from the website last month....this was due to the various goverment corruption scandals recently revealed. I see that they put it back now. They should change it to San Diego: We always have perfect weather.
I am a smoker and when it rains water do come inside

Hmmm.. I live in a city where you don't pay income tax, only 5% for your pension.
Vehicles are pretty cheap, and I pay USD$0.3 per litre of 97 octane.
Schools are free, medical is free...
Living is cheap, rent is low and you can get a nice property at good prices.
Crime is almost non existent.. Maybe 1 murder in the last 10 years.
Air is clean with 70% of the country in forests...

Probably half of your famous people from America's finest city can't speak proper English.
And I thought the US gave San Diego back to Mexico , just like they did with SA
Mazda's engineers definitely tuned the aerodynamics and airflow of the RX-8 very well. Another thing I've noticed since day 1 is how with the windows down, the RX-8 directs less air towards the ears than some other cars I've been in. This is a good thing, especially at high speeds, helps to save your hearing in the long run.
