CDROM Shop Manuals on eBay?
Just bought an RX-8. Seems like a pretty good overall package although six gears are needed only for marketing, not by the torque curve of the engine. Too much rowing. IMHO, anyway.

I see a number of people selling shop manual CDROMs on eBay. Are these all the same factory manual? Unauthorized copies? I normally buy shop manuals for the vehicles I own, and having one on CDROM looks like a good inexpensive option. Can anyone comment on these?

...but it is a nice space saving thing to have. I bought one and it came in handy on my laptop.

I think that they give it away on the Mazda website. I bought the ebay manual, and it was very good.
