Hey all
Here is the situation.
Bought a 2010 Sparkling Black Mica late this past summer.
Love the car
Upon getting it home ( bought from a dealer 7 hours away ), I notice
a long scratch in the finish on the hood and a few acid etches also
on hood. I wont bore you with the dealer story and their excuses.
When they tried to shuck responsibility I made sure they realize how
dishonest they were....anyways...
So I say ' Zaino is the **** and it will take care of me'
After claying and multiple layers, the flaws are masked but still there.
So, late this fall I took it to a reputable body shop and they tell me that it wont
be a problem - just buff it out.
Okay - help me out here as I am **** about finish on a black car and never had anything buffed out.
After buffing will there be swirls in the finish ? I never do car washes for this reason and my mind thinks that a mechanical operation Will show through.
All you paint masters - tell me about buffing and its potential end result.
I thank you for the advice
