Cool Buying my first RX8 R3 Trim :)

Hey guys,

I just wanted to introduce myself. The name is Jason. 21 years old from Northern Ontario. Just dropping a line. Been browsing these forums for the last month or so but never really registered till a few days ago. I just ordered a 2009 RX8 R3 model from a dealership on Tuesday. Should have it in about 1 month or so. Im pretty pumped about it. I chose the Electric Blue Mica for the color. :-D

Will take pics when I get it.

Just wanted to say hey to everyone.

Virtually everything in the '04 manual should apply to your '09, so it's worth a read. Congrats!

Question

I've got the 09 manual in PDF if you want. Thing is I haven't figured out how to share large files on this site yet. It's 6.83 MB large. Any ideas?

Oh alright, I'm sure it's the same color just with different names. And yes, it's a very nice color.

Hey Maz, i have a 05' Whitewater Pearl RX-8, and i was wondering about the quality of those front bumpers... is the drag coeifficent less or more with those bumpers. Cus i thought it looks real good and my stock bumper has the front right fender torn out... to be honest i would love all the info on the bumper :D, btw do they come painted or would i have to get it painted... cus the pearl costs a **** ton to spray...

Also, does it actually come with those little fog lights or what's the deal with that? Doesn't the 09 have lights like those? I forget

hi jason and glad you could join us.

i've seen an advert for your model in the top gear (uk car show) magazine, and the new styling does start to grow on you. even the steering wheel looks ok in the photo.

its a nice looking car and having a winning blue and blue being my favourite colour, congrats on choosing one of the coolest colours in the palette lol.

i bet your all excited about the car, there is lots of help n support on this site, so no worries.

it will be interesting to see how the mark 2 of the rx8 measures up to the mark 1 which most of us on here all have.

but congratulations again on your new toy.
