Buying

My mam is thinking about selling her Alfa Spider and getting an RX8.

I've heard that there can be a lot of problems with RX8's after certain mileage etc.

Could anyone give me a quick buy guide on picking the right car.

Thanks

i think if you plan on an engine every 100k miles, you're in good shape, the car really doesn't need much attention in between.

If I were you, tell your mom to keep the Alfa Spider. I regret selling my Triumph Spitfire and they look identical with the Alfa Spider. Anyway, a maintained car will last long, take care of it and it will take care of you. Read the stickies and other important information on this site, good luck if you decided to get an rx8.
